Building community sites is at the heart of ComSite's mission.  We began in March of 2000 to develop and employ our own state of the art content management system that focused on building, connecting, and growing real world communities via internet technologies.  Over the years, we have developed a very systematic approach and toolset which has helped us to become extremley effective at helping communities to thrive. 

     In March of 2008, we began using DotNetNuke as the framework upon which we develop our Community Sites.  While our framework was quite powerful, we decided to make the move to the DotNetNuke framework for several reasons:

• Versatile – DotNetNuke is an open source web application framework ideal for creating, deploying and managing interactive web, intranet and extranet sites.
• User-Friendly – DotNetNuke is designed to make it easy for administrators, content editors, developers, and designers to manage all aspects of their web assets. Wizards, content-sensitive help, and a well-researched user interface provide a superior user experience.
• Localized – DotNetNuke includes a multi-language localization feature which allows administrators to easily translate their projects and portals into any language.  And with an international group of host and developers working with DotNetNuke, native support is always close at hand.
• Cutting-Edge - DotNetNuke provides developers with an opportunity to leverage best-practice software development concepts by utilizing cutting-edge technologies like ASP.NET 2.0, Ajax, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Windows Server, and IIS.
• Extensible – DotNetNuke has a pluggable architecture which allows additional functionality and presentation elements to be dynamically added to the application at run-time. By leveraging the base funtionality exposed through the built-in content management system,  developers and site administrators can be immediately productive and more focussed on delivering optimal solutions to their own unique business requirements.
• Recognized – DotNetNuke is a trademarked name, and a brand widely recognized and respected in the open source community.  With over 600,000 registered users and a talented team of developers, DotNetNuke continues to evolve its software through participation, real world trial, and end-user feedback.

  One of our oldest clients, this church has been through many changes over the years.  Their site has been completely re-designed and has become quite a blessing to their community.

  One of our newest endevers was to re-design this website.  The church has changed it's "flavor" over the years and was ready for a website that reflected their personallity a little better.  So, with the help of their designer, we implemented this new design and they love it!
   
• Bakersfield Airsoft & Close Quarter Battle Arena
  This site was ported over from their original site which was not run using a content management system.  They are now using DotNetNuke and are very pleased at how quickly and simply updates can be made to their site.
